Academy Alumni Nick Goepper Wins Olympic Medal

Our very own Nick Goepper took home his third Olympic Medal this past week. Nick took home the silver medal for Freeski Slopestyle in Bejing. Nick previously took home a bronze in 2014 in Sochi & a Silver medal during the 2018 games in Pyeong Chang

The Indiana native was a student here at Wy’East Academy from 2010-2012, where he was coached by our current Head of School, Mike Hanley.

“Nick Goepper has gone to three Olympics & has come home with three Olympic medals. Athletes, judges & coaches all over the world know that you can never bet against him putting down a podium run when it counts. We are all looking forward to seeing Nick back out here in Oregon this summer“ , Says Hanley.
