YOUR COACHES

Barbara Edwards - Dean of Students, Pro Mountain Biker

Our Dean of Students is probably one of the most extreme athletes that we have at our school.  From breaking down the mental side of riding with yoga and meditation techniques to the steps it takes to learn a new trick or line, Barb has you covered. She continues to inspire and lead by example with everything she does at our academy.  I am so excited to have her up coaching for this block of time because its rare we get to lean into her expertise on the Mountain Bike and we can't wait for you to join us!

"I am at Wy'East because my passion for mountain biking and working with the youth are combined into one extreme setting here. I value the chance to show powerful young athletes how they can work towards their goals and become leaders in their communities through following passion and commitment.”

Ezra Calvillo

As a high end rider himself Ezra can show you how to do tricks. Having a lens from the eye of a rider, Ezra can break down tricks to that next level because he knows how to relate. I dare you to try and get more laps than him as he will be pushing right alongside you himself. Ezra works hard to make sure that your experience with us is better than anywhere that you have been before and that you leave with a big old bag of new tricks or stronger ability to ride at!
