WHAT TO EXPECT

Mammoth is one of the premier destinations for park snowboarding, especially in the spring when you can throw down in one of the most well maintained parks in the US.  We will be riding everything that Mammoth has to offer from full top to bottom laps to work on technique to all the different parks that Mammoth has to offer.  Each day after riding we will be driving to one of the most beautiful lakes around to do ice baths and video review.  We can also divide and conquer to hit one of the local skate parks.

TYPICAL DAILY SCHEDULE 

  • Breakfast 8 am - 8:30 am

  • Get ready for hill 8:30 am - 8:45 am

  • Drive to Mountain 8:45 am - 9 am 

  • Ride 9 am - 12 pm

  • Lunch 12 pm - 12:30 pm 

  • Ride 12:30 pm - 3 pm 

  • Return to condo 3:30 pm 

  • Rest & Reflect 3:30 pm - 4 pm

  • Drive to lake for ice bath 4 pm - 4:30 pm

  • Soak it in 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm 

  • Return to condo 6 pm 

  • Video review 6 pm - 7 pm 

  • Dinner 7 pm - 8 pm

  • Stretch 8 pm - 9 pm 

  • Lights out 10 pm - 11 pm

Monday, May XXth: If flying into Reno we will have 1 shuttle run leaving RNO at 2pm

Monday, May XXth: If returning home out of Reno we will arrive to the airport at 11am

Heading up our snowboard program is Brando AKA the little ninja guru. He will show you how to speedily learn to kick but and break down the blocks of what it is to become a great athlete. From contest to the core to the backcountry, Brando will help you find the right pathway to take and become proficient. Brando came in through the summer camp side of coaching and has evolved into being one of the best. He will make it fun but with a discipline that makes sure you get the most out of your experience with us. He is currently trying to get two kids on the team for the 2026 Olympics in Slopestyle. We are so excited that we have Brando heading up our snowboard program.

Stu came in through our summer camp coaching program and was the most motivated snowboard staff of the summer. His eagerness to learn and pick up on concepts by trying them first himself leads to a level of coaching that is unmatched as there is nothing like knowing from the lens of actually doing the trick to then teach it. If his coaching doesn’t motivate you then his personality will, come find out why if you haven’t already!

With a background of racing and boarder cross what better a coach to head up our development program than Alec. Learn how to go fast, I mean Ricky Bobby fast without a care in the world as you find your pathway of what snowboarding is for you. A good foundation as an all around snowboarder will lock in a successful pathway in life. Alec is stoked, adaptable and willing to always put in the work come find ways to build these steps in your life.
